Textbroker.com is an active income site where you are paid for every article that is accepted. The article rate isn't on the high end of the pay scale but the more articles you complete, the more you make. There is good money to be made on Textbroker.com, with perseverance.
Applying to Textbroker.com
Signing up is simple. Before beginning the sign up process, make sure you have an active and verified paypal account. Simply complete the sign up application that is available on the website. Make sure you read the terms and conditions (a full scroll through is required) and check the box. Once submitted, you will receive an activation email. I didn't receive my email automatically; it arrived the next morning. Follow the instructions on the email to activate your Textbroker.com account.
Once activated, the site will provide you with a list of three or four topics plus a minimum word count. You choose one topic to write about. This writing sample is used to grade your work on a scale of 1-5. If rated a 1, you are on the lowest pay per word/article scale while a 5 is the highest pay per word/article. To get a higher rating, check and check your article again. Make sure it is formatted correctly with no grammar or spelling mistakes. However, don't stress if you aren't rated high in the beginning. Your rating can raise because Textbroker continues to rate every article you submit. In other words, if you start out as a 3 but then have several articles rated at a level 4, then your rating will increase to a 4. This means higher pay.
Choosing and Submitting Articles
Textbroker.com has many different topic areas. When you are looking through the available opportunities that are at your rating or lower ratings are displayed. One you select a topic to write about, specific instructions from the requesting client will be listed. Follow these instructions, check spelling and grammar then submit your article. The article will either be approved and payment will be forwarded to your Textbroker account. If revisions are requested, you can either revise the article or release the article back into the available topic pool. In a few days, you shall receive a rating 1-5 on that article once it is approved.
Getting Paid at Textbroker
Payment is monce a month. Your Textbroker.com account must meet or exceed the ten dollar payout limit before payment is made. Then, you manually request payment through your account information before the fifth of each month. Payment is forwarded to your paypal account. If you do not meet the ten dollar limit, your account balance is rolled over to the next month. You are paid this month for the work you submitted last month. I request payment on the third of each month.
Getting the Most Out of Textbroker.com
To get the most out of textbroker.com, you need to bang out the articles quickly. The best advice I can give anyone who is wanting to write for any active income site is to Write What You Know. In other words, choose topics that you know about instead of topics that require research. Here are two scenarios to help you better understand.
I decide to contribute to textbroker.com three hours per day, six days per week. By choosing topics I already have a knowledge about, I can produce 4-6 articles per hour based on word count and topic. Let's say I choose topics with a rating of 4 and a 450 word limit. By choosing topics I can write about without any additional research, I spend 10 minutes writing and 5 minutes editing. This will give me 4 articles per hour. At this rate, I can average around $18/hour, $54/day, $324/week and $1,296/month.
Let's look at it a different way while following the same writing schedule above. If I chose topics that required research before writing, then I would spend 15 minutes on research, 10 minutes writing and 5 minutes editing. This will result in 2 articles per hour. We'll say these articles rate a 4 and have a 450 word limit as well. This would give me a average pay rate of $9/hr, $27/day, $162/week and $648/month. Do you see the huge difference in my monthly payout?
When writing for Textbroker.com, choose topics you can write about without vast research and write as many as you can per hour. Just remember, keep your articles high quality, follow the client's instructions, and check for grammatical and spelling errors to keep your ratings high.
