A New Writing Project

I just cannot seem to help myself. I love to write and am constantly looking for new projects. I have been a waitress, a customer service rep, a technical support agent, a cashier, a head start teacher, a stylist, and the list goes on and on. My experience in these fields has been used to obtain many writing opportunities and has been incorporated into revenue articles. But writing was a constant part of my life as I contributing all over when I could. Slowly adapting my style while learning all I could about becoming a full time writer. Now that I have made the transition with what I consider moderate success, I want to do it all!!!

When I began this blog, I hopea I would be able to create a blog directed towards mothers like myself and contain information about everything. But the more I have learned about blogging, I realized that for a blog to become successful, it needed to focus on one topic....not a million. The more I have blogged here, the more I realized that this blog was a more personal than originally intended. And I like it that way. Whatever the topic, I can use posting as a way to get my thoughts in order.

With that being said, I have created a new blog. This new blog, Write at Home Mommie (yes, it is created and yes, I hold full copyright for the title), will focus solely on freelance writing at home. The name was created based on the common "at home mom" titles, such as stay at home mom or work at home mom. I thought it was a cute play on words for us freelancing writing moms!

All of my current posts on this blog that focus solely on freelance writing will be transferred to the new blog. This blog will continue to be here, but deal more with the "My Life" aspect. I am very excited about the new blog because I am hoping to put a realistic feel on beginning and maintaining a freelance writing career while working at home with children. This is a subject I can really help people with....I live it everyday!!!

  1. So, this blog is going to be about the 'lil bit of everything else?' I liked how you wrote about everything. I am a freelancing mom who crafts, whose husband works out of state and who lives on a budget. I enjoyed coming here and seeing a new topic with each post!

  2. Thanks Kendra! I should have been more specific in my post. This blog will focus on the 'mommie' part. I am going to post crafts, recipes, tips to make things easier and all sorts of things that I have learned or am learning. Plus, it will still be sort of a personal blog as I post the happenings in my life. Of course, I don't expect my life to be interest everyone, that part will be more for myself.
    Hope this clarifies some!
